1. The Dark World.
A. Sin brings darkness upon men.
I John 2: 9-11
9 He who says he is in the light, and hates his brother, is in darkness until now. 10 He who loves his brother abides in the light, and there is no cause for stumbling in him. 11 But he who hates his brother is in darkness and walks in darkness, and does not know where he is going, because the darkness has
blinded his eyes.

Matthew 6:23

23 But if your eye is bad, your whole body will be full of darkness. If therefore the light that is in you is darkness, how great is that darkness!

The world is filled with darkness and evil works. John 1:5, John 3:19

B. Hell is a place of darkness. Matthew 25:30

Jesus brings Light.

C. Receiving Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior connects you to the saving Light of God. Acts 16:31

Continue in the Light. John 8:31, 12

D. This means maintaining an ACTIVE walk with Jesus Christ through

(i) Regular studying of Bible. I Peter 2:2
(ii) Frequent praying and occasional fasting. Mk 9:27
(iii) Obeying the prompt of Holy Spirit. John 14: 26
(iv) Fellowship with Children of God.
(v) Reading Bible-based materials and listening to Bible-based messages.
Conclusion: Jesus is the Light, follow Him.
