Believers in Christ must be filled with knowledge- right knowledge, accurate knowledge, and timely knowledge. Knowledge is power but much more than that, accurate knowledge when applied at the right time is gain (profitable).
Why will a believer lose after an apparent and initial win/victory?
- Too early announcement
“And the man, wondering at her, remained SILENT so as to know whether the Lord had made his journey prosperous or not.” (Genesis 24:21)
“Now after those days his wife Elizabeth conceived; and she HID HERSELF five months, saying” (Luke 1:24)
- Too early celebration
“…. So they saddled the donkey for him, and he mounted it. Then he rode after the man of God and found him sitting under a great tree. The old prophet asked him, “Are you the man of God who came from Judah?” (I King 13:13-14)
“So he led David to them, and they found the Amalekites spread out across the fields, eating and drinking and dancing with joy because of the vast amount of plunder they had taken from the Philistines and the land of Judah”.(I Samuel 30:16)
Many believers lose their blessings and victories because they announce and celebrate too early- when the enemies are still much around and active. Many will drop their armor of warfare, and depart from the Lord at a slight sight of victory not knowing that it is not yet in their full/complete grasp.
Will you learn from Abraham’s servant, Elizabeth, Mary and others in the Scripture and receive your full blessings/victory before celebration and even celebrate with care and wisdom?
May you not lose your blessing/victory and miracles in Jesus’ name. May you never experience spiritual and physical abortion of good things in Jesus’ name.
